Spacious Room in Central Location
separate lounge ample electric sockets warm room
my room had a separate lounge area right on the high street. the room felt warm (it was a bonus because a storm passed through). there was enough space and ample electric sockets (a great practical addition).
i found no one at reception when i arrived at 5pm on a saturday. i had to ring a number to get assistance (this was quite unusual).

there is no lift in the building (something to consider with mobility issues). the hotel is a historic building built in the 1500s.

The room was quite large. i liked the big windows. the staff was helpful with my luggage. They were courteous.
the wifi didn't work properly. i got a different login, but still, it didn't work. i was not able to chrome cast. the water pressure in the bathroom was poor. the taps spluttered.

The room was very spacious and well presented. I found the location to be AMAZING!!! in the heart of everything. I appreciated the large rooms this hotel provided.
The radiator whistled intermittently, even when turned off, slightly distracting.

lovely stay!
central location spacious room friendly staff
the location was wonderful , right in the town center with many shops nearby. the room was really spacious and clean with a comfy bed. i really liked that the staff was friendly and helpful , always ready to assist.
the central heating in the room was difficult to adjust . i found it hard to cool the room down , even with the window open.

the staff members were helpful , providing quick assistance with directions and restaurant recommendations. they handled my baggage with care and ensured a smooth check-in process , which was quite reassuring.

my room included both a separate bathtub and a shower , which i found quite convenient. the hotel had a nice traditional style and offered good value , and i also appreciated the authentic corridors and large rooms.

good sized room clean bed large bathroom
I stayed in a good sized room. It was larger than I expected. The bed was very comfy and tidy. The bathroom was very large, so i had plenty of space.
The single glazed windows did not block the traffic noise. I could hear activity on the high street. The hotel should consider double glazing.

Tea and coffee facilities were available in my room. I also found a good range of toiletries. A large fan was available in the cupboard, ensuring i could adjust the room's temperature.

The hotel has an adjoining restaurant. It also has a great coffee place round the corner. I enjoyed the ease of accessing dining options without needing extensive travel.
